The truth is this system is a complete lie because it doesn’t provide any UVR protection. WHY, the polyaspartic clear topcoat is no different than a window. The UVR goes through the clear and ambers, oxides, yellow and destroys everything underneath.
When the base coat is polyaspartic with pigment that’s added, UVR can’t penetrate through color. This is the same reasoning why we tint our car windows and why tint is not cleared. A clear polyaspartic topcoat is no different than a window so that’s why a polyaspartic pigment base is so critical.
